What are your requirements for Doggie Daycare and Boarding?
As with all kennels, your pet must be up to date on all shots. This includes Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella (Kennel Cough). All Pets must be at least 4 months in age, and any pet over 6 months of age must be spayed or neutered.Since we co-mingle the dogs with dogs from other families, your dog must be good tempered and in good health.
My dog has never been boarded. How do I know that my dog will fit in?
We recommend that you bring your dog with you when you come to fill out the proper paper work. This way the dog can become familiar with the kennel, and we can introduce him or her to a small group and watch for signs of aggression.
I have 2 dogs. Can they sleep in the same run?
Absolutely. We do feed the dogs in their runs, so if your dog is possessive of food, we will need to know to make the proper accommodations.
What do I need to bring?
If your dog has a sensitive stomach, we recommend that you bring the food that your dog eats at home. It is a requirement that it is in a plastic or metal container. Food that is brought in plastic or paper bags will be sent home with you. Bedding is not necessary to bring. If you do bring bedding, please do not bring something that would disappoint you if you did not get it back. Treats and toys are welcome, but as with the bedding, make sure it's not your pet's favorite toy.
Are your kennels climate controlled?
Yes, they are! We keep them cool in the summer with a swamp cooler, and warm in the winter with heated floors.
Do I need to make a reservation for either boarding or doggie daycare?
Reservations are required at all times and for all services. However, if the space is available, last minutes reservations are welcome.
What do you consider a holiday?
New Years, Spring Break, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
Do I need to pay a deposit?
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required for reservations made for all holidays.
